Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), 6-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Dragons face the Ridgeland Panthers (Rossville, GA) in a 6-AAAA challenge, on Thursday, March 29. Pickens will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 4-0 league loss to LaFayette (LaFayette, GA).

The Bobcats now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Union County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 29. Gilmer will face a Panthers team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-8.
