Maryland High School Football - Westlake defeats Patuxent
October 23, 2009: Waldorf, MD 20603 In Friday's league match, the host Westlake Wolverines football squad scored a good 41-14 victory over the Patuxent Panthers.
In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Parkside Rams (Salisbury, MD) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 30. Westlake will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 1-7 record after their 49-7 non-league loss to Decatur (Berlin, MD).
The Panthers (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Braves enter the Southern Maryland match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Chopticon dropped by Great Mills (Great Mills, MD), 12-8, in a league match.
