North Carolina High School Basketball - Triton fells Harnett Central

November 29, 2012: Angier, NC 27501

Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC), 53-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Triton upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host Overhills (Spring Lake, NC) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Friday, November 30. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Overhills won 86-47 in their recent non-league bout against Harnett Central (Angier, NC)

Next up, the Trojans play the Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 3. Harnett Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 54-52 non-league loss to Lee County (Sanford, NC).
