Reese Rockets (Reese, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host All Saints Central Cougars (Bay City, MI), 65-62 in a league bout.

With the win, Reese upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Rockets travel to Harbor Beach (Harbor Beach, MI) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 12. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Harbor Beach lost 55-42 in their recent league bout against Ubly (Ubly, MI)

Next up, the Cougars encounter the Bad Axe Hatchets (Bad Axe, MI) in a Greater Thumb - West bout, on Friday, January 14. All Saints Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
