New Mexico High School Football - Centennial trounces Los Lunas
October 9, 2015: Las Cruces, NM 88011 In Friday's league match, the host Centennial Hawks football squad scored a big 56-19 victory over the Los Lunas Tigers.
In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) in a 5A District 3 match, on Friday, October 16. Centennial will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Jaguars enter the match with a 1-5 record after their 38-21 league loss to Chaparral (Chaparral, NM).
The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Desert Warriors enter the 5A District 3 match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Santa Teresa was crushed by Belen (Belen, NM), 56-9, in a league match.
