North Dakota High School Basketball - New Town crushes Max
December 11, 2010: New Town, ND 58763 New Town Eagles (New Town, ND) fans went home content Saturday as they observed their basketball team smash the visiting Max Cossacks (Max, ND), 103-41 in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Stanley Blue Jays (Stanley, ND) in a B District 15 game, on Thursday, December 16. New Town will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Blue Jays enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 45-40 non-league loss to Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND).
With the defeat, Max moves to 2-5 on the year. The Cossacks travel to North Shore/White Shield (Makoti, ND) to face the Wildcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 14.
