Florida High School Baseball - Mitchell defeats Nature Coast Tech

April 6, 2015: New Port Richey, FL 34655

Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL), 8-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mitchell upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Mustangs host Springstead (Spring Hill, FL) to battle the Eagles in a 6A District 10 test on Tuesday, April 7. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 12-7. Springstead lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Crystal River (Crystal River, FL)

With the defeat, Nature Coast Tech falls to 5-14 on the season. The Sharks travel to Citrus (Inverness, FL) to battle the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 7. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 10-7. Citrus won 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Trinity Catholic (Ocala, FL)
