Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the DeSoto Eagles (De Soto, TX) and the host Lincoln Tigers (Dallas, TX), saw DeSoto's basketball squad hold off Lincoln by a score of 63-59.

With the victory, DeSoto improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Joshua (Joshua, TX) to play the Owls in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 12. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Joshua won 53-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Weatherford (Weatherford, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Lakeview Centennial Patriots (Garland, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 7. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
