California High School Volleyball - Bernstein overwhelmed by Maywood Academy
November 12, 2013: Maywood, CA 90270 The Bernstein Dragons volleyball team (Hollywood, CA), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Maywood Academy Nighthawks (Maywood, CA)
The Nighthawks (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against King-Drew Medical (Los Angeles, CA). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 9-11 record. In their last challenge, King-Drew Medical defeated Chavez (San Fernando, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Dragons encounter the Contreras Cobras (Los Angeles, CA) in a Central challenge, on Wednesday, November 13. Bernstein will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record. The Cobras come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA).
