Illinois High School Softball - Jacksonville bounces Eisenhower
April 9, 2012: Jacksonville, IL 62650 Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Eisenhower Panthers (Decatur, IL), 20-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Crimsons now sport a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenwood for a Central State Eight challenge on Tuesday, April 10. Jacksonville will face a Titans squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Titans record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Eisenhower falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host West (Normal, IL) to face the Wildcats in a Big Twelve challenge on Thursday, April 19. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 4-6.
