In Monday's non-league contest, the Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Vikings battle the Randolph Southern Rebels (Lynn, IN) in a Mid-Eastern contest, on Tuesday, September 18. Blue River Valley will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Rebels go into the contest with a 2-17 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Milan (Milan, IN).

With the loss, Northeastern moves to 13-9 on the year. The Knights travel to Franklin County (Brookville, IN) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 18. The Wildcats go into the contest with a record of 7-13. Franklin County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Union County (Liberty, IN)
