Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion (Durham, NC) supporters were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad wallop the visiting Carolina Friends Quakers (Durham, NC), 51-23 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign.

Next up, the Quakers confront the Voyager Academy Vikings (Durham, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Carolina Friends will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 85-31 league win over East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC).
