Virginia High School Lacrosse - Episcopal held off by Highland
April 28, 2009: Alexandria, VA 22302 Highland (Warrenton, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse team nip the host Episcopal Maroons (Alexandria, VA), 13-12 in a non-league challenge.
The now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Virginia Episcopal for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 30.
In their next game, the Maroons meet the St. Stephen's-St. Agnes Saints (Alexandria, VA) in a Interstate Athletic challenge, on Friday, May 1. Episcopal will attempt to advance on its 7-7 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 15-1 non-league win over Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA).
