The Golden Demons basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Standley Lake Gators to 56 in the Demons non-league triumph on Monday.

The Demons now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arvada for a 4A Jeffco contest on Wednesday, January 7. Golden will confront a Reds team coming off a 91-48 non-league win over Skyview (Thornton, CO). The Reds record now stands at 5-3.

The Gators (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Range (Westminster, CO). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Mountain Range lost by Columbine (Littleton, CO), 64-48, in a non-league contest.
