Pennington Red Raiders (Pennington, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs (Pennington, NJ), 62-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pennington upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Red Raiders host Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 10-7.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Robbinsville Ravens (Robbinsville, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 21. Hopewell Valley Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Ravens go into the bout with a 4-17 record after their 90-41 non-league loss to Trenton Central (Trenton, NJ).
