Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield East knocked off by Morton
December 27, 2017: Plainfield, IL 60585 The Morton Potters basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Plainfield East Bengals to 42 in the Potters non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Potters now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richwoods for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Morton will battle a Knights team coming off a 57-45 non-league win over Freeport (Freeport, IL). The Knights record now stands at 9-2.
The Bengals (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Freeport (Freeport, IL). The Pretzels enter the non-league contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Freeport was defeated by Richwoods (Peoria, IL), 57-45, in a non-league contest.
