In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Hillcrest Screamin Eagles basketball team scored a good 53-44 triumph over the Walnut Ridge Bobcats.

In their next game, the Screamin Eagles meet the Izard County Cougars (Brockwell, AR) in a 1A Region 2 North match, on Tuesday, February 6. Hillcrest will attempt to better on its 17-11 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 28-2 record after their 74-35 non-league win over Rural Special (Fox, AR).
