Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC), 43-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ashbrook upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Greenwave host Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 4. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Blue Eagles play the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 4. Clover will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
