The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Buena Bulldogs (Ventura, CA) and the host Santa Barbara Dons (Santa Barbara, CA), observed Buena's football squad edge Santa Barbara by a tally of 28-21.

The Bulldogs now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host San Marcos for a Channel contest on Friday, October 30. Buena will play a Royals squad coming off a 54-15 league loss to Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA). The Royals record now stands at 1-7.
