Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Northwest Vikings (Grand Island, NE) and the host Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE), saw Northwest's basketball squad overcome Seward by a tally of 38-24.

With the victory, Northwest improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Columbus (Columbus, NE) to confront the Discoverers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Discoverers come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Columbus lost 42-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Hastings (Hastings, NE)

Next up, the Bluejays confront the Norris Titans (Firth, NE) in a B District 4 challenge, on Friday, December 16. Seward will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
