Arizona High School Basketball - Payson nudges Page
December 3, 2010: Page, AZ 86040 Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Page Sand Devils (Page, AZ), 45-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Payson upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Blue Ridge (Lakeside, AZ) to encounter the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 4. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Blue Ridge won 56-43 in their recent non-league bout against Ganado (Ganado, AZ)
Next up, the Sand Devils encounter the Ganado Hornets (Ganado, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 4. Page will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 56-43 non-league loss to Blue Ridge (Lakeside, AZ).
