The Carroll Tigers (Corpus Christi, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Brandeis (San Antonio, TX), 53-51 in Friday's non-league test.

The Tigers (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Miller (Corpus Christi, TX). The Buccaneers go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Miller was tipped by Victoria Memorial (Victoria, TX), 61-58, in a non-league test.

The now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holmes for a 5A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, December 15. Brandeis will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 59-42 non-league loss to Bowie (Austin, TX). The Huskies record now stands at 3-11.
