Washington, DC High School Basketball - Georgetown Day falls to Potomac School

December 15, 2011: Washington, DC 20008

The Potomac School Panthers basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers to 64 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Collegiate for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Potomac School will meet a Cougars team coming off a 63-51 non-league loss to St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-3.

Next up, the Mighty Hoppers play the Flint Hill Huskies (Oakton, VA) in a VISAA Division 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Georgetown Day will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 71-56 non-league loss to Paul VI (Fairfax, VA).
