Kentucky High School Football - Morgan County trounces Jackson County
September 25, 2015: West Liberty, KY 41472 In Friday's non-league match, the host Morgan County Cougars football squad scored a big 51-12 victory over the Jackson County Generals.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Powell County Pirates (Stanton, KY) in a 3A District 7 match, on Friday, October 2. Morgan County will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 38-16 league win over Estill County (Irvine, KY).
The Generals (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Corbin (Corbin, KY). The Redhounds come into the 3A District 8 game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Corbin was trounced by Mayfield (Mayfield, KY), 28-14, in a non-league game.
