Arizona High School Football - Youngker drops to Page
September 25, 2009: Page, AZ 86040 In Friday's non-league game, the Page Sand Devils (Page, AZ) football team knocked off the visiting Youngker (Buckeye, AZ), by a final score of 32-16.
The Sand Devils (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ). The Thunderbirds come into the 4A Grand Canyon game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Mohave was dropped by Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ), 28-21, in a non-league game.
The now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Coconino for a non-league game on Friday, October 2. Youngker will battle a Panthers team coming off a 48-0 non-league loss to Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.
