Aquinas Knights (Louisville, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Canton Central Catholic Crusaders (Canton, OH), 39-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Aquinas upgrades its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Firestone (Akron, OH) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 29. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 9-4. Firestone won 75-52 in their recent league bout against Ellet (Akron, OH)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Lake Center Christian Tiger (Hartville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 11. Canton Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record.
