South Carolina High School Basketball - Porter-Gaud ripped by Hammond
January 12, 2016: Columbia, SC 29209 In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Hammond Skyhawks basketball team scored a decisive 76-54 triumph over the Porter-Gaud Cyclones.
In their next game, the Skyhawks meet the Augusta Christian Lions (Martinez, GA) in a SCISA AAA Region I match, on Friday, January 15. Hammond will attempt to better on its 15-0 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 3-6 record after their 66-44 non-league loss to Curtis Baptist (Augusta, GA).
With the defeat, Porter-Gaud moves to 11-3 on the year. The Cyclones host First Baptist School (Charleston, SC) to meet the Hurricanes in a SCISA AAA Region III match on Thursday, January 14. The Hurricanes enter the match with a record of 4-13. First Baptist School won 73-57 in their recent non-league match against Wilson Hall (Sumter, SC)
