The Maryville Rebels (Maryville, TN) basketball nipped the host Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN), 66-60 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Rebels (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Heritage (Maryville, TN). The Mountaineers go into the AAA District 4 test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Heritage was tipped by Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN), 59-47, in a league test.
