The Kings Mountain Mountaineers tipped the visiting East Burke Cavaliers basketball team by a final score of 68-67 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mountaineers face the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, February 15. Kings Mountain will attempt to move on its 17-8 season record. The Golden Lions enter the game with a 20-4 record after their 64-62 non-league win over Crest (Shelby, NC).

With the defeat, East Burke moves to 8-16 on the year.
