Rincon Rangers (Tucson, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Desert View Jaguars (Tucson, AZ), 73-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Rincon upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Rangers travel to Nogales (Nogales, AZ) to play the Apaches in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Apaches go into the bout with a record of 15-3. Nogales won 74-64 in their recent league bout against Sahuarita (Sahuarita, AZ)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ) in a I Section II bout, on Friday, January 13. Desert View will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 82-52 league loss to Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ).
