In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Sierra Vista Mountain Lions basketball team scored a decisive 70-48 triumph over the Lake Washington Kangaroos.

In their next game, the Mountain Lions meet the Clark Chargers (Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Sunset - Southwest match, on Friday, January 12. Sierra Vista will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record.

With the defeat, Lake Washington moves to 3-8 on the year. The Kangaroos travel to Redmond (Redmond, WA) to meet the Mustangs in a 2A/3A KingCo match on Wednesday, January 3. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 2-6. Redmond lost 68-54 in their recent non-league match against Liberty (Hillsboro, OR)
