September 19, 2011: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Hilltoppers clash with the Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) in a West Suburban - Silver match, on Tuesday, September 20. Glenbard West will attempt to advance on its 13-1 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 10-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Hononegah (Rockton, IL).
With the loss, Palatine drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Pirates host Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL) to clash with the Saxons in a Mid-Suburban - West match on Tuesday, September 20. The Saxons come into the match with a record of 8-6. Schaumburg won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Elgin (Elgin, IL)
