Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mifflin County holds off State College
January 24, 2014: State College, PA 16801 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA) and the host State College Little Lions (State College, PA), saw Mifflin County's basketball squad hold off State College by a tally of 65-64.
With the victory, Mifflin County improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Huskies host Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA) to confront the Trojans in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth challenge on Tuesday, January 28. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Chambersburg lost 73-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Frederick (Frederick, MD)
Next up, the Little Lions confront the Harrisburg Cougars (Harrisburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. State College will attempt to improve on its 1-16 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 71-57 non-league loss to Great Valley (Malvern, PA).
