Indiana High School Football - Connersville trounced by Franklin County
August 26, 2005: Connersville, IN 47331 Franklin County Wildcats (Brookville, IN) fans were pleased Friday as they witnessed their football team trounce the host Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN), 47-7 in a non-league game.
With the win, Franklin County improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Jay County (Portland, IN) to meet the Patriots in a Olympic game on Friday, September 2. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 1-1. Jay County lost 32-6 in their recent non-league game against Delta (Muncie, IN)
The Spartans (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN). The Marauders enter the Hoosier Heritage game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Mt. Vernon was trounced by Monroe (Fortville, IN), 42-12, in a non-league game.
