In Saturday's non-league match, the host Perry Panthers basketball team scored a decisive 67-40 triumph over the First Presbyterian Day Vikings.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA) in a 2-AAAA challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Perry will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Warhawks come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 48-40 non-league win over Houston County (Warner Robins, GA).
