In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Westgate Tigers (New Iberia, LA) basketball squad edged the visiting Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA), by a count of 77-70.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Dayton (Dayton, TX). The Broncos go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Dayton held off Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX), 53-27, in a non-league outing.
