Pennsylvania High School Football - Sto-Rox routs Union Area

September 7, 2018: New Castle, PA 16101

The Sto-Rox Vikings football squad scored 60 points and restricted the host Union Area Scotties to 0 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.

The Vikings now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cornell for a WPIAL 1A Big Seven battle on Friday, September 14. Sto-Rox will play a Raiders squad coming off a 43-15 non-league win over Bentworth (Bentleyville, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Scotties play the Northgate Flames (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 1A Big Seven battle, on Friday, September 14. Union Area will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Flames enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 56-0 league loss to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA).
