Ohio High School Basketball - Wayne tops Wilmington
December 10, 2018: Wilmington, OH 45177 Wayne Warriors (Huber Heights, OH) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Wilmington Hurricane (Wilmington, OH), 55-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Wayne upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Miamisburg (Miamisburg, OH) to encounter the Vikings in a Greater West Ohio - National West test on Saturday, December 15. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 3-4. Miamisburg won 61-51 in their recent league test against Northmont (Clayton, OH)
The Hurricane now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to New Richmond for a non-league test on Thursday, December 13. Wilmington will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 51-30 non-league win over Reading (Reading, OH). The Lions record now stands at 4-1.
