In Tuesday's league match, the host Johnson Atomsmashers basketball team scored a tight 75-70 triumph over the Groves Rebels.

With the victory, Johnson improves its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Atomsmashers host Benedictine (Savannah, GA) to play the Cadets in a 3-AAAAA challenge on Friday, February 3. The Cadets come into the challenge with a record of 2-13. Benedictine lost 67-18 in their recent league challenge against Savannah (Savannah, GA)

Next up, the Rebels play the Jenkins Warriors (Savannah, GA) in a 3-AAAAA challenge, on Friday, February 3. Groves will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 54-50 league win over Camden County (Kingsland, GA).
