The Gretna Dragons basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the host Elkhorn South Storm to 37 in the Dragons league victory on Friday.

The Dragons now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gross Catholic for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 9. Gretna will battle a Cougars team coming off a 42-28 non-league win over Sidney (Sidney, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.

The Storm (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hastings (Hastings, NE). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Hastings edged Seward (Seward, NE), 43-27, in a non-league contest.
