Virginia High School Football - Lakeland can't get by Indian River
October 8, 2010: Suffolk, VA 23434 Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA), 25-22 in a league test.
With the triumph, Indian River improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Braves host Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA) to confront the Bruins in a AAA Southeastern test on Friday, October 15. The Bruins come into the test with a record of 2-4. Western Branch lost 24-15 in their recent league test against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA)
With the loss, Lakeland drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) to confront the Tigers in a AAA Southeastern test on Friday, October 15. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-1. Oscar Smith won 28-0 in their recent league test against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA)
