California High School Basketball - Central trounced by Montgomery

In Friday's non-league match, the host Montgomery Aztecs basketball team scored a decisive 60-33 triumph over the Central Spartans.

In their next game, the Aztecs face the Liberty Patriots (Henderson, NV) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 4. Montgomery will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 6-4 record after their 36-27 non-league loss to Century (Pocatello, ID).

With the defeat, Central moves to 3-7 on the year. The Spartans travel to Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Saturday, December 29. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 9-1. Otay Ranch won 59-45 in their recent non-league match against Lincoln (San Diego, CA)
