The Laguna Acoma Hawks (New Laguna, NM) basketball knocked off the visiting Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes (Albuquerque, NM), 71-61 in Tuesday's league test.

The Hawks (9-18) will now prepare for their test against Cuba (Cuba, NM). The Rams go into the 3A District 6 test with a 22-5 record. In their last test, Cuba notched a victory over Native American Community Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 87-50, in a non-league test.
