Minnesota High School Football - Elk River defeats St. Francis

In Friday's league match, the visiting Elk River Elks football squad scored a good 35-22 victory over the St. Francis Fighting Saints.

In their next game, the Elks clash with the Rogers Royals (Rogers, MN) in a North Central - Blue match, on Friday, October 5. Elk River will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Royals enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 10-9 league win over Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN).

The Fighting Saints (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN). The Wildcats enter the North Central - Blue match with a 2-3 record.
