The Ballinger Bearcats football team (Ballinger, TX), was knocked off 27-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Winters Blizzards (Winters, TX)

The Blizzards (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamlin (Hamlin, TX). The Pied Pipers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Hamlin knocked off Hawley (Hawley, TX), 34-15, in a non-league challenge.

The Bearcats now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Merkel for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 19. Ballinger will meet a Badgers team coming off a 26-20 non-league loss to Stamford (Stamford, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 0-3.
