April 29, 2011: East Brunswick, NJ 08816 St. Joseph Falcons (Metuchen, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host East Brunswick Bears (East Brunswick, NJ), 6-5 in a league test.
With the win, St. Joseph upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Falcons travel to J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ) to battle the Hawks in a Greater Middlesex - Red test on Saturday, April 30. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 4-10. J.P. Stevens lost 3-2 in their recent league battle against Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ)
The Bears now possess a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Piscataway for a Greater Middlesex - Red battle on Saturday, April 30. East Brunswick will play a Chiefs squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-11.
