Game Summary
Coach Erick Bryant's LB Poly Jackrabbits routed the Compton Tarbabes for the second time in league play by a score of 25-4. Once again, as in their first encounter, the Jackrabbits were led by their outstanding centerfielder, Tai Tiedemann, who had 3 of Poly's 17 hits in the contest. Tiedemann, who was the starting Quarterback for the Jackrabbits football team is considered by 'Babes' Coach John Thompson, as the best centerfielder he has seen in the Moore League this season. As for the 'Babes' performance, they left little to be desired as they committed their league leading 47th error in only 9 league games. Their offensive attack has been mired in a slump since a non-conference win against Dominguez in which they scored 10 runs and pounded out 16 hits. Against Poly they were only able to produce 6 scattered hits. Next up for Compton is a home game against powerhouse LB Woodrow Wilson HS on Wednesday, May 7th.
