Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the S & S Consolidated Rams (Sadler, TX) and the host Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX), witnessed S & S Consolidated's softball squad tip Ponder by a count of 5-4.

The Rams now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitesboro for a 3A Region II District 9 test on Tuesday, March 20.

The Lions (8-11) will now prepare for their test against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region II District 9 test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Callisburg was tipped by Gunter (Gunter, TX), 11-2, in a league test.
