Oregon High School Basketball - McKay knocked off by Douglas
January 13, 2016: Winston, OR 97496 The Douglas Trojans basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting McKay Scots to 34 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Trojans now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reynolds for a 6A Mt. Hood contest on Friday, January 15. Douglas will battle a Raiders team coming off a 42-39 league win over Centennial (Gresham, OR). The Raiders record now stands at 8-6.
The Scots (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against McNary (Keizer, OR). The Celtics enter the 6A Greater Valley contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, McNary ran past West Salem (Salem, OR), 53-42, in a league contest.
