Virginia High School Baseball - Washington & Lee loses to Rappahannock
April 17, 2012: Warsaw, VA 22572 The Rappahannock Raiders crushed the visiting Washington & Lee Eagles baseball team by a tally of 11-2 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Raiders now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Essex for a A Northern Neck bout on Thursday, April 19. Rappahannock will face a Trojans team coming off a 11-4 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 7-2.
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA) in a A Northern Neck game, on Thursday, April 19. Washington & Lee will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Indians go into the game with a 7-4 record after their 10-3 league loss to Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA).
